Fall Fun

I decided to bundle the girls up this past Sunday and take them for a walk. They love their wagon rides.

Climbing, higher the better

the couch......and everything on the couch that we thought was out of reach

and chairs.....chairs lead to the dining room table. Oh yes the fun has begun. I was changing Keira's diaper and I heard Alyssa talking away and then she started to laugh. This usually means that she is in to something that she knows she is not supposed to be. I pick up Keira to see what Alyssa is doing and yes she was sitting on the dining room table!!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!!!

It took a little coaxing to get the girls to go further than frosting. At first they both poked at it with one finger, by the end they were covered literally head to toe with pink/purple frosting and cake crumbs. Future pics of the end result will be posted later, you will definitely want to see these. We all had tons of fun!!!! HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY KEIRA & ALYSSA!!!!!

Just fun

Alyssa is in training for the bars. She would try to pull herself up above the bar and she even hung there all by herself. Not for very long though.

Mike and I tried tiring the girls out by making them walk around the playground, however Keira wanted to always stop and analyze everything. She would stop for sticks, pinecones, leaves and yes danedlions. She played with this for at least 5 minutes.

No fear

Keira had fun while dad pushed her on the swing. The higher she went the louder she squealed.

Alyssa is all about conquering stairs. These had a sweet surprise at the top...a BIG slide to go down.

So the girls have this super duper talking kitchen; with it came pots, pans, dishes, and silverware in a backpack.....the thing they like to play with the most is the backpack! Go figure.

Miss you Grandma!!!!

Keira now has 2 top teeth with a third on the way. I think she has also lost 3-4 pounds, go, go, go.....

Alyssa is getting her 5th tooth on top. Let me tell you if Mike and I can make it through these two teething at the same time we can make it through anything.

Hard Day at the Beach

It took me a while to get them to this point. I walked the shoreline for 20 minutes just to get one to fall asleep. They love to watch the kids on the boogie boards, and all the people walking by. We had another fun day at Grand Haven beach. The weather was beautiful and the girls did much better with the water and sand.

Keira & Alyssa are now walking. Alyssa started at 9months 1 day and Keira started last week Thursday (10 1/2 months) YIPPEE!!! LEt the fun begin.

We did have other family photos, but this is one of my favorites.

Some personality coming out

This is one of Keira's newest faces. She smiles huge and then crinkles her nose and lets out a little motor laugh.

Alyssa comes off as innocent and then when you get to know her shes all giggles. For those of you that don't know already Alyssa is walking!!! She started about a week and half ago, so she was 91/2 months when she started. Keira is not far behind, she will walk around furniture and certain toys. Right now she is the master crawler.
